Who We Are

Quality Express Freight is a Dubai-based freight forwarder with 40 years in the business of moving cargo across borders. From our head office at Green & View, Barsha Heights (Tecom), we manage international shipping by air, sea, and road for importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, and families relocating to and from the UAE.

We are a door-to-door operator. That means we take responsibility for the whole journey — from a supplier's warehouse in Guangzhou or a factory in Germany, through Jebel Ali or DXB, past Dubai Customs, and onward to a receiving dock, showroom, or front door anywhere in the world. Freight forwarding is a business of details and accountability, and after four decades we have built our name on getting both right.

We are not the largest forwarder in Dubai, and we do not pretend to be. What we offer is senior, hands-on handling of your shipment by people who have spent their careers on these lanes and know where cargo gets stuck — and how to keep it moving.

Our Story

Forty years is a long time in a trade that has changed almost beyond recognition. When Quality Express Freight began, Dubai was an emerging trading post; today it is one of the world's principal logistics hubs, anchored by DP World's Jebel Ali Port, the JAFZA free zone, and two international airports at Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum (DWC). We have grown alongside that transformation — through the arrival of containerisation at scale, the digitisation of customs via Dubai Customs' Mirsal 2 platform, the adoption of Incoterms as a common commercial language, and the rise of the UAE as a re-export gateway between East and West.

Through all of it, our approach has stayed the same: understand the cargo, plan the route honestly, price it fairly, and stand behind the shipment until it is delivered. Longevity in freight forwarding is not an accident. It is the compound result of shipments that arrived as promised and clients who came back.

What We Do

We operate across every major mode of international freight, and each is covered in more detail on its own service page:

  • Air freight — the fastest option for time-critical, high-value, or perishable cargo, moving through DXB and DWC on scheduled and consolidated services.
  • Sea / ocean freight — cost-effective movement of larger volumes, both FCL (full container load) and LCL (less than container load), through Jebel Ali and other regional ports.
  • Land / road freight — trucking across the GCC and the wider Middle East, including cross-border movements into Saudi Arabia, Oman, and beyond.
  • Express freight — expedited handling when a deadline cannot move.
  • Relocation — household goods and personal-effects moves for individuals and families arriving in or leaving the UAE.
  • Customs clearance — declaration and clearance through Dubai Customs and the Mirsal 2 system, including HS code classification and duty and VAT handling.
  • Door-to-door — end-to-end collection and delivery that ties the other modes together.
  • International shipping — coordinated multimodal solutions for complex or long-haul consignments.

We also handle warehousing, project cargo, dangerous goods, and temperature-controlled shipments where a consignment calls for specialist care.

How We Work — Our Values

Reliability. A freight quote is a promise. We plan realistic routings and communicate clearly when conditions — port congestion, customs inspection, carrier schedules — affect a shipment. We would rather give you an honest transit range than an optimistic figure we cannot hold to.

Transparency. You should understand what you are paying for. We set out charges, applicable duties, and the 5% import duty and VAT where they apply, and we explain the Incoterms 2020 responsibilities that determine who bears cost and risk at each stage.

Door-to-door accountability. When a shipment is ours, it is ours from origin to destination. Handovers between air, sea, road, and customs are where cargo is most often delayed or lost track of; managing those seams is precisely the job we take on.
